Munich was the next stop on our journey.  The dates of our tour were chosen carefully.  Oktoberfest was the goal.  After all of the fake "Oktoberfests" I have been to, I am finally able to claim the real Oktoberfest!  But first, I really must start with Munich.  We arrived to a rainy night, but even that didn't keep the crowds inside.  After an orientation in Marienplatz, we were on our own to explore.  Every restaurant was packed, but our guide Colleen went out of her way to help everyone find what they were looking for.  Without her assistance, I would never have gotten into a restaurant or even made it back to the hotel.
